The line for registration to Flight B of the RunGood Cup Championship Event at Harrah's New Orleans started forming at 11:30 a.m. Friday, and within ten minutes stretched across the aisle and into the adjacent slots. By the time registration closed at 4:20 p.m., 141 players had entered the field, busting the $100K guarantee wide open with Flight C still to go.

PokerNews was on hand to record all the live action, which you can find here. By the end of the day, 30 players survived and bagged chips to return Sunday for Day 2.  Flight B chip leader Tim Woodson managed to amass a stack of 359,000 during the 6½ hours of play, most of which came during two hands in the final level of play, the second of which saw Woodson knock out RG Pro Ben Reason. You can read about those hands here.

Other notables to move on to Day 2 include former Oklahoma State Poker Champion Brett Rager (120,500), RG Pro Ryan Tepen (102,000), and Council Bluffs RG Main Event winner Brandon Fish (36,000).
