RUNGOOD DOWNSTREAM MAIN EVENT (DAY 1A): Poker Runs Good in the Family

Rodney Spriggs (pictured above) is a fan of the RunGood Poker Series, coming to play at virtually every RGPS stop. His picture above is from the Green Chip Bounty event last night, and this video includes his winner's photo from the RGPS Deepstack event here at Downstream from November 2015 (his photo appears at 0:56 in the video).

What you may not know is that Rodney's son, Zachary (pictured at top, right), carried the torch last night finishing second in the RGPS Green Chip Bounty event for $2,977. But more than this, it was only Zachary's second live tournament--ever! What about his first, you ask?  Well, that would be the RG Pro Bounty on Tuesday, where Zach knocked out not one but two RG pros and collected $1,000 in bounties.

As luck would have it, both father and son were seated at the same table today in Flight A of the RGPS Main Event.
