RG Bossier City Main Event (Day 1A): STARTING OUT AT A TROT

Level 2 (100/100/100)
Total Entrants: 78

In a room known for action, the players are sparring early and often. We've already seen a haymaker from local player Jeff Wyatt (pictured), though most players are playing a conservative game.

As for Wyatt's hand, we missed the early action, but Wyatt check-called the Q♠5♠4♦ flop out of the small blind, and check-called another 3,000 chips on the 8x turn. When the river brought the Q♣ to the board, Wyatt immediately shoved all-in for 18,000.

His opponent sighed and said, "Okay," before folding his hand face up to reveal K♥K♦.

Jeff Wyatt - 32,000

Scanning the rest of the field in Level 1, Terry Hanley has chipped up nicely to 31,000 to be among the early leaders.

Also present in the field are RG Ambassadors Dan Lowery, Mina Greco, and Papa Karn.

Up next we'll look at a hand Lowery played to close Level 1.
