Day 1C Entrants: 106

John Butler surged to near the top of Day 1B in the last level of the night at the expense of Robbie Matthews (pictured) in a pot of close to 200,000. Matthews felt the sting of defeat but bounced back off the canvas in the last flight.

So far in Day 1C, Matthews is hovering a few chips within the 100,000 mark. If Matthews' name sounds familiar it's due to his poker resume that includes over $100,000 in earnings. Matthews has done well in the surrounding Gulf Coast poker scene and this tournament marks the chance for him to earn his RunGood breakthrough.

A look at the leaderboard comes next with a few other players along with Matthews in pursuit of the chip lead held by Floyd Williams.
