RG Council Bluffs Main Event (Day 1A): The People's Champ Pulling Double Duty

Level 8 (300/600/75)
Day 1A Entrants: 105

Ray Henson (pictured) took the World Series of Poker by storm this summer, final tabling four events and playing his way into contention for WSOP Player of the Year. Henson is in the top-five for POY but is forgoing the trip to WSOP Europe this week and playing in Council Bluffs on Day 1A.

Henson's hometown team of the Houston Astros are currently battling in Game 3 of the World Series, leading Henson to play both his cards and his heart. With the game winding down soon, Henson will move from one sweat to another as he tries to make Day 2.

Most of Henson's success this summer came in non-No Limit Hold'em events but his 12th place WSOP Main Event finish in 2007 and Colossus final table finish prove he has the chops to make the final table. Should he do that, Henson will earn his seat on the RunGood Cruise.
