RG Council Bluffs Main Event (Day 2): 8th Place - Brian Dewey ($3,892)

Brian Dewey found his way out of trouble a few times on Day 2 but Justin Heilman effectively eliminated Dewey with a three-outer on the river.

The rate of eliminations is starting to gradually increase as the blinds become more of a factor. Brian Dewey was riding high earlier at the final table but is now on the rail thanks to an untimely river against Justin Heilman.

Heilman shoved for 265,000 with A♣Q from early position and Dewey called with QQ♠ from one seat over, having Heilman covered by 5,000. The 1083♣ flop didn't help Heilman and neither did the 7♠ turn.

The A♠ river, however, shipped Heilman the double and flattened Dewey. He was all-in the next hand and sent to the rail by Phil Mader as the blinds are ready go up once again.
