Level 17 (4,000/8,000/1,000)
Total Entrants: 293
Players Remaining: 22
Chip Average: 266,000

The rate of eliminations have slowed in Level 17 but that is not as a result of all-ins not occurring. The chips are moving and for Rodney Springs and Sharon Livingston, they were able to double up against two of the chip leaders to bring more parity to their table.

JD Akins opened to 18,000 and Spriggs (pictured) shoved for 122,000 in the small blind. While Akins was thinking about his decision, Spriggs asked to be paid off in the yellow T1,000 chips should he win the hand.

Spriggs chatted up Akins for a minute more and eventually, Akins put white T25,000 chips in with A♣2♣. The AJ of Spriggs was ahead and he held to double. Akins falls to 675,000.

Daniel Stone raised under the gun to 20,000 and Livingston (pictured) moved in for 130,000 in the cutoff. Stone looked pained as he tanked for two minutes but decided to call with A♠Q.

Livingston's KK♠ held a sizable lead and no ace came on the J637♣J♣ board. Livingston is back above the chip average and Stone falls to 320,000.
