A fair share of talented players played in the Day 1A flight and a few more have joined them early on Day 1B. Shawn (Reginald) Roberts has owned the Heartland Poker Tour circuit in recent years with three main event titles won this decade.
Roberts owns a lighting company and as a result, doesn't have the time to put in the volume of a full-time professional but his results are enough to make any player envious. Just last week, Roberts waded his way through a field of 997 entries in Choctaw to earn $114,000 for his second place finish.
One of the accolades missing from the poker resume of Roberts is a RunGood Main Event cash and he has the opportunity to change that this weekend.
