RG Kansas City Main Event (Day 1B): Two Of Nebraska's Finest

Level 2 (50/100)
Total RG Main Event Day 1B Entries: 81
Total RG Main Event Entries: 204

Missouri is well-represented in the RG Kansas City Main Event field as is Oklahoma, but Nebraska is putting on a good showing with two players, in particular, looking to take down the title this weekend.

Duster Ellis doesn't miss too many RunGood stops and has been in Kansas City for all of this week. The Spring Brawl has proved fairly successful for Ellis, who made the final table of the DeepStack event in Council Bluffs. When he's not busy brokering hot sauce deals, Ellis is grinding away on the felt and he's in search this weekend for his second career RG Main Event final table.

Jon Lawson lives in Omaha but he travels the circuit when he has the time to do so. Staying local was a wise choice for Lawson a few weeks ago as he recorded three cashes in the Council Bluffs WSOP Circuit series. Lawson's largest career cash came on the Heartland Poker Tour in Kansas City where he made the final table, earning over $16,000, and he will look to regain that form this weekend.
