In what can only be described as the card rush of a year, Thanh Bui demolished the RunGood Kansas City Main Event final table and leaves the Main Event as the final champion of the Spring Brawl.

Bui was the among the shortest stacks for nearly all of Day 2 and came back from dinner break at the bottom of the leaderboard. Bui effectively doubled up by eliminating Ryan Phan and then doubled up again at the start of the final table, both times with pocket kings. After the first elimination of the final table, Bui was responsible for eliminating places two-through-nine with his termination of Troy Repp in eighth place paving the way towards his run.

Bui eliminated Repp in the biggest pot of the tournament, catapulting him into the chip lead and from there, he never looked back. Bui busted six players in Level 24 alone before having only one opponent separating him from victory in Michael Lech.

Their heads up match started with Bui in control of the chip lead but Lech was able to chip back in contention. Bui remained undeterred and eliminated Lech in a cooler to clinch the title, the Championship Belt, and the KO Watch.

This concludes the RunGood Spring Brawl and we will be back for the fall season with a soon to be announced schedule.
