Chris Drake continues to be the Day 2 undertaker and recently sent defending RG KC Champion Rob Palacios to the payout desk.

Relative to expectations of making it through a field of this size, Rob Palacios did about as good of a job as anyone could ask for of defending his title. Unfortunately for him, another win was not in the cards and he is now on the rail thanks to Chris Drake.

Palacios moved all-in for 120,000 in the hijack and action folded around to Drake in the big blind, who called with A♣A. Palacios was in rough shape holding QQ♠ and the 96♣3♠10♠A board secured his fate.

Drake is playing 720,000 and there will be a new champion in Kansas City by the end of tonight.
