Flight 1B is officially underway with 80 players in action across nine tables. Players returning from Flight A include Kevin Mathers, Papa Karn, Paul Strohm, and Christopher Juul, just to mention a few. Darol Rodrock, apparently trying to improve on the 40,000 chips he bagged in Flight A, is starting out strong on a table with Greg Jennings. Rodrock has already tripled his starting stack in what he calls "a lucky hand," though he was mum on the details.
RunGood pros Dan Lowery and Grant Hinkle (pictured, right) are mixing it up in the early going. As is defending champion Seth Evans (pictured, left).
2017 World Champion Scott Blumstein is in the building, but has yet to take a seat. When asked if he would be playing Flight B, Blumstein said he was conflicted. He said he wants to watch the Jets-Browns game, and may play tonight or in Flight C, but hadn't decided.
Other familiar faces in the field include final tablists from our last visit to the venue in May, including Charles Anon (2nd), Kristian Olsen (4th), and Andrew Ziskin (8th).
