RG TULSA Main Event (Day 1A): BUNCH'S BALANCING ACT

Level 8 (500/1000/1000)
Total Entrants: 104

Eric Bunch (pictured) carries himself with an casual, easy demeanor that belies the intensity by which he reads his cards and opponents at the table.

With four years under his belt as a professional poker player, Eric made the transition from cash games to tournament play in 2015. Prior to becoming a pro, Eric focused on cash games, but tournaments are now his staple. Given his impressive showing at a number of these events, it's safe to say that Eric has found his calling.

Along with his wife, Lauren, an accomplished player in her own right, Eric has racked up a series of showings that would make a veteran proud. This includes a win in 2017 on the WPT in the $3500 + 200 No Limit Hold'em in Choctaw/Durant for an astounding $117,761 to place 6th in the tournament.

With a small daughter, however, Eric and his wife tag team parenting and poker duties. Realizing where the importance things lie, Eric plays on weekends and generally within the vicinity of Tulsa so he is never too far from home.
