The 'Lawton Legend' Jesse McVicker isn't shy about making bold statements and his latest gem is full of bluster. According to McVicker, none other Oklahoma City's Chris Staats (pictured) is the "best six-max player in the world."

For a statement like that to be made, there need to be some numbers available to back it up. Well, there is. Staats won the WSOP Circuit six-max ring at Choctaw in January for second-highest career score. Staats followed that up by making the final three table is the $5,000 Six-Max event at the World Series of Poker this summer.

All told, Staats career earnings are closing in on $600,000 and he can hit that mark with a win this weekend. There won't be six-max play until late on Sunday but if Staats can make it that far, his reputation speaks for itself.
