RG TULSA MAIN EVENT (Day 2): Cory Smith Picks Up Aces, Knocks The Field Down to 39

Level 15 (2,500/5,000/500)
Total Entrants: 346
Players Remaining: 39
Chip Average: 177,500

Cory Smith (pictured) is doing his part to bring the field closer to the bubble after eliminating two players at the start of Level 15. Smith woke up with aces at the right time and sent out Andrew Watson and Todd Hoffman.

Watson shoved for 10 big blinds under the gun with A♠5♠ and Hoffman, who was down to one ante after losing an all-in to Jon Bennett, was in with 9♠6♠. Smith looked down at AA♣ and called the all-in. The board ran out blank and the field is down to 39 players.

Smith is playing 155,000. Bennett won with jacks against the ace-queen of Hoffman the hand prior and is playing 260,000 as he works his way to a second-consecutive RG Tulsa final table.
