Pocket aces failed JW Carter with 28 players left but the best hand in poker resumed its dominance at three table play. Billy Holler (pictured) and David Newman both knocked out a player to boost their final table hopes.
Randell Harrod pushed in 121,000 under the gun with 9♣7♠ and Newman reshoved for close to 160,000 on the button with the ones.
Harrod flopped as well as he could ask for on the 8♣6♣3♥ board but improved no further to bust in 27th place.
David Smith went in for 120,000 in the cutoff with Q♣8♥ and Holler found his aces in the big blind.
Smith was dead on the turn and Holler is close to duplicating his RG DeepStack final table from earlier in the week.
Both Smith and Harrod earn $1,930 for their finish.
