RG TUNICA MAIN EVENT (DAY 2): Troutman Over 1,100,000, John Pelton Doubles

Level 19 (6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total RG Main Event Entries: 582
Players Remaining: 25
Chip Average: 466,000

John Pelton doubled up through Chanda Davis and is playing 700,000 as a result.

The rate of eliminations has slowed down a tad since the field narrowed to 27 players and instead of eliminations, there have been doubles and the sight of David Troutman taking in another pot.

Picking up the action on a flop of K♠109, Stephen Lee bet 43,000 in the hijack and Troutman called on the button. Both players checked the Q♠ turn and Lee bet 100,000 on the 3 river. Troutman wasted little time calling with A♣Q and had the A3 of Lee beat. Troutman is above 1,000,000 and Lee falls to 230,000.

On an adjacent table, John Pelton moved all-in for 325,000 into a pot of 125,000 out of turn, on a board of 6♠5♠2K3 into Chanda Davis, who was in the small blind. Pelton was shoving from the small blind and the bet represented most of Davis's stack.

She thought it over for two minutes before calling with Q♣Q. Pelton showed A6 and took in the massive pot. Davis is now down to 240,000 with the blinds about to go up.
