Chip Average: 6,920,

Dan 'Wretchy' Martin came into Day 2 of the RunGood Tulsa Main Event a man on a mission. After falling shy of bagging on Day 1A, Martin put 194,000 in the plastic coming into Day 2 and started off strong early in today's play.

Martin doubled near the money bubble and hovered near the top of the leaderboard as play approached the final table. Once the final 10 were reached, Martin was in the middle of the pack and played a patient game waiting for the right time to strike.

He found that opportunity when he doubled up through Eric Thompson with pocket aces with five players remaining. Three-handed play around came with Martin needing to utilize his millions of hands played online to accumulate chips.

As he did for years on the virtual felt, Martin gradually acquired chips and then knocked out Jesse Jones to take the chip lead into heads up play against Jon Bennett.

The two made a heads up deal netting Martin the better share of the remaining prize pool and the RunGood Cup. Martin is the first RunGood ambassador to win a Main Event since Ryan Tepen won in New Orleans in May 2015.

Martin will now return to his home in Las Vegas to spend the rest of the year playing golf and perhaps some more poker.

The last stop on the RunGood Fall tour is in Downstream, Joplin, MO from December 12-17. Be sure to check out RunGoodGear.com for all updates.
