In one of the more impressive final table performances in recent RunGood Main Event history, Michael Beaty led from start to finish to close out the DownStream event. Beaty started Day 2 with an above average stack and started off on an upswing immediately.

Literally, everything went Beaty's way today and the run went all the way deep in the event to two table play. Beaty doubled up through then-chip leader Sharon Livingston and never relinquished that lead for the rest of the tournament.

Beaty entered the final table as the only player over 1,000,000 and won every key pot once there. The largest pot for half of the chips in play landed in favor of Beaty when his queens held against the ace-king of Jose Yoel Gonzalez Ramirez.

The win caps off a great week for Beaty, who chopped the RG DeepStack event on Thursday. With his victory, Beaty claims his largest career score and a seat on the RG Cruise.

This tournament marks the conclusion of the RunGood Road to Open Water and the fall season.
