RG Council Bluffs Main Event (Day 2): Henry Gingerich Puts Greg Jennings To The Test

Level 20 (5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total RG Main Event Entries: 278
Players Remaining: 19
Average Stack: 293,000

Henry Gingerich put Greg Jennings to the test and got Jennings to fold to boost his stack over 500,000.

Amazingly enough, both Mike Rieck and Greg Jennings are alive with only nine players separating the both of them from a second consecutive RunGood Main Event final table appearance. Rieck has been short all day and Jennings was almost on the edge and had to make a big fold to Henry Gingerich.

Picking up the action on a flop of A♠J6♠, Jennings checked from the small blind and Gingerich bet 55,000 from under the gun into a pot of about 80,000. Jennings called and the A hit the turn. For the second time, Jennings checked, and Gingerich bet 80,000 more. It took a moment for Jennings to call, but he did and the 8♠ hit the river. Jennings checked with 150,000 behind and Gingerich moved all-in.

Jennings wondered aloud what he could beat and tanked for about four minutes thinking through his options. No one called the clock on Jennings but he found a fold and Gingerich mucked without showing. Gingerich is closing in 525,000 and Jennings has an uphill battle in front of him with only 15 big blinds.
