Level 9 (600/1,200/200)
Day 1B Entrants: 88
Total Entrants: 162
Day 1B Players Remaining: 43
Chip Average: 40,900

Second chances can be worth waiting for and that is the case for Mike Marn (pictured) on Day 1B. Marn found himself on the rail near the end of play yesterday but rebounded today to build a stack of 120,000 in Level 9.

Marn is currently the only player over 100,000 but that is soon to change. Players are building stacks to compete with Marn and JD Akins is among them. The blinds are gradually starting to play a larger factor and pots will grow as they do for the rest of the night.

It will be interesting to see if Marn can keep up his run in the last few levels of the night and for now, he is the leader by a comfortable margin. Below is a look at the leaderboard.

Mike Marn - 120,000
Joshua Kays - 85,000
JD Akins - 80,000
Lance Sayler - 75,000
Ted Forshey - 74,000
Lauren Bunch - 70,000
