Level 18 (5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total RG Main Event Entries: 379
Players Remaining: 26
Chip Average: 292,000

Shawn McBride doubled through Ryan Phan to take the chip lead in the RunGood Kansas City Main Event.

It was only a matter of time before two big hands butted heads and Shawn McBride and Ryan Phan found themselves squaring off in the largest pot of the main event.

McBride opened to 28,000 under the gun and Phan three-bet to 100,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to McBride who then four-bet all-in for 325,000 total. The raise accounted for most of Phan's stack and he called with AK♠ to put McBride at risk.

McBride rolled over K♣K and had a substantial lead to double up. The Q♣10♠39♠9 board was good enough for McBride to move into the chip lead with 675,000. Phan is down to 150,000 and is need of a double of his own.
