The RunGood Player of the Year Race powered by the Global Poker Index

The RunGood Poker Series and Global Poker Index unite to bring the tour’s official 2023-24 Player of the Year Race

[Tulsa, OK] - The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) and Global Poker Index (GPI) are thrilled to announce another collaboration that looks to give back to its players around the country. To enhance the overall player experience and reward exceptional performance, both organizations are joining forces to create an RGPS GPI points leaderboard that will award the top five ranked players a 2024 Hendon Mob Mid- Major Championship package.

The RGPS Leaderboard can be found here.

The partnership between the RunGood Poker Series and the Global Poker Index is just another step forward in growing and rewarding the mid-major poker scene.

How it Works:

1. Leaderboard Points: Players will accumulate points based on their performance in RunGood Poker Series events by the Global Poker Index ranking system. Events that are not open to the public are excluded from awarding points i.e. Seniors, Ladies, etc..

2. Top 5 Prizes: The leaderboard will begin on August 29th, 2023, and end June 1st, 2024. The Top 5 ranked players on the leaderboard will be awarded a seat into the 2024 Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship along with a $500 travel stipend.

3. RunGood Player of the Year: The top player will be eternalized on the tour through a traveling RunGood Player of the Year banner.

“We are so excited to join forces with the great folks at RGPS to power their 2023-24 Player of the Year race. We recently witnessed first-hand how Tana, Hayley, and RunGood Team put on a show and take such good care of their players at every tour stop.” said Eric Danis, President of the GPI/THM. “We could not be more honored to know that the RGPS will be sending a group of well deserving winners to the 2024 Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship next summer.”

The RunGood Player of the Year race will be covered over two themed seasons (Road Trip and Destination RunGood) that lead up to the tour’s summer finale stop at Thunder Valley Casino.
